General Writing: Unreal Conditions

4. Write your own complex sentences using the subordinating conjunctions provided. Remember: if a subordinating conjunction begins a complex sentence, put a comma after the clause.

Example:
although (beginning the sentence)
Although I like the old Coke taste, I don't like the new taste at all.
as (continuing the sentence)
Mary is certain to pass her English test this semester as she has made a lot of preparation.
